Mortise Exit Device

Home > Products > Exit Device > Mortise Exit Device
The mortise lock style exit device incorporates a mortise lock normally without deadbolt mounted in the door routed slot. The mortise lock is part of the exit device function on doors. When the push bar is pressed, the spindle adaptor rotates and retracts the mortise latch bolt, permitting the door to open or swing out.
Mortise Lock can be equipped with outside trim (select form of functions), such as entrance / passage…etc. The exit device is mounted onto the inner side of the door with the mortise lock mounted into the routed slot on door edge.
Luter Panic Exit Devices have been tested and certified to ANSI/BHMA 156.3-2001.
